Woke up at about 5am (…4am Phoenix time) to hide out in the freezing desert for an hour and wait for this surprise sunrise proposal. They walked right past my hiding spot, right past plan B and C spots, and basically I had to run after them at least half a mile. Jasmine was so nervous to propose, she just kept walking! She’s so cute. It all worked out in the end, and these two babes never stopped smiling all morning. Plus, now they have a hilarious proposal story.

We drove a little farther north just across the border into Utah to see Forrest Gump Point. We wanted that iconic view from the movie, but had to run back and forth in and out of the street every time a car passed.  Worth it.
