Levi and Alyssa traveled from their home in Alabama to where they fell in love in Flagstaff, Arizona for their gorgeous San Francisco de Asis Church wedding!
In the morning, Alyssa and her girls rented an airbnb to get ready at before heading to the Catholic church. Lots of times, the room that a church will let you get ready in is dark, windowless, and/or used for storage. This cute house in the woods had plenty of light, space for everyone, and looked real good for pictures.
Just before walking down the aisle, Levi and Alyssa read letters from each other. They didn’t want to see each other before the ceremony, but this was their sweet way of being able to communicate and calm each other down. The two wouldn’t be able to talk until after the ceremony (while surrounded by everyone), so I love that they wrote each other letters!
These two had their ceremony at 1pm, meaning the sun was bright and shining for their cocktail hour photos! Which, ya know, isn’t always ideal. Luckily we found some shade during cocktail hour, and made a short escape from their reception so they could frolic in the woods. They got to spend some (mostly) alone-time together, soaking in the soft golden light and their new marriage!

I caught Kelly and Beth outside on the deck trying to take cute pics on their phones. So I decided to help. 🙂
Here we are, my favorite photo of the entire day: when Alyssa forgot to shave before putting her dress on.
