Eliana and Tyler’s Shenandoah Mill wedding photos at their lush green venue was a fairytale! Their natural greenery dreams blended rustic and modern styles perfectly.
These lovebirds wanted their ceremony to be right at sunset, with the light soft and their fairy lights twinkling. Because of this – they decided to get all of their photos out of the way before the ceremony, rather than during cocktail hour. We started with their first look, followed by a couple portraits of just them. The timeline here was a little tight so we went right into bridal party portraits, family formals, and then more portraits of just them. The backyard of Shenandoah Mill has lush greenery throughout, which make this venue an enchanted dream! But, since their bridal party and guests are already there, and guests started arriving, we wanted to get away from everyone. I feel like couples are more comfortable making out (in front of my camera) when there’s less people staring at them. And of course Eliana didn’t want everyone to see her before the ceremony.
The night ended with the best party I’ve been to in a while. I think the key here is: lots of guests, but a small dance floor. Forces everyone to cram together and have a blast!
